Open-air cinema shows current films, classics and family hits in the rotunda of the school village until September
From June 4th, 2025, it's once again "Cinema under the Stars": The Filmseher Open Air invites you to the listed open-air stage on the grounds of the Bergstraße school village every Wednesday to Saturday until September 6th. On balmy summer evenings, current films, award-winning productions and timeless classics will be shown.
The open-air cinema opens with the tragicomedy "What Does the Lama Want with the Rifle?" , which takes a tongue-in-cheek look at the introduction of democracy in Bhutan. The program also includes "Summer Kings" , "The Photographer" , "Beautiful" , "Inside Out 2" , and "Wild Robot" "The Outrun" and "Like a Complete Unknown" are also
Two major film classics will also be shown: Alfred Hitchcock's "Rear Window" on July 9 and Stanley Kubrick's "2001: A Space Odyssey" on August 27 .

The screenings begin at dusk; the exact times can be found online. Tickets cost €9.20 (€8.20 for concessions), and a cinema pass for five visits is available for €39 . Reservations are only possible online at www.filmseher.de/reservieren and can be made until shortly before the screening. Cancellations are possible at any time.
The beer garden opens 75 minutes before the film starts and offers snacks and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere.
