New elections
The Darmstädter Heiner e. V. invited its members to the general meeting on February 20, 2025 with the election of the board. The previous chairman Wolfgang Koehler, who had executed the office since 2019, had no longer faced election. At the upcoming election, his previous deputy Peter Lehr was elected as the new chairman, the new deputy chairman became the previous assessor Steffen Bäuerle. Due to the death of the long-time treasurer Roland Dotzert in August 2024, Tom Jahnel, who has been an interim treasurer since then, was confirmed in this function. Secretary Brigitte Göckel made herself available for another two years, as did the two assessors Lisa-Maria Moos and Jasmin. Since the two assessors Torsten Rasch and Steffen Bäuerle left their office, Anne Jähn and Ruben Zapf were elected as new assessors. There was also a change among the auditors Herbert Fleck and Dieter Emig: since Herbert Fleck no longer stood for election, Armin Schahar was appointed a new auditor, while Dieter Emig continued his office. All board members were elected unanimously.
In the meeting, the previous chairman Wolfgang Koehler, who has also been Heiner Festival President and Chairman of the Darmstädter Heiner local association since 2017, thanked for his many years of voluntary work and his great commitment to the support association and the Heiner Festival.
Another item on the agenda was the presentation of the new office manager Violetta Wohland, who now coordinates the fortunes of the home club after the previous managing director Ines Philipp. A foresight for the Heinerfest 2025, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, showed that preparations are already in full swing.
