JobCenter Darmstadt and KJC of the district present Rehapro Vit project
On February 8, the JobCenter Darmstadt and the JobCenter Kreis Groß-Gerau presented the joint project "Network Interaction Participation (VIT)" during the home game of SV Darmstadt 98 against Elversberg. Although the “lilies” in the game of the second Bundesliga unfortunately had to accept a defeat, the framework conditions were perfect: wonderful weather and an impressive backdrop.
The VIT project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs as part of the federal program Rehapro. The focus is on innovative approaches to cooperation with civil allowance recipients, especially those with mental and/or addiction. The aim is to enable sustainable participation in the labor market through health stabilization.
The participants receive intensive and needs -based support in order to find ways back to society and working life. The principles "Help for self -help" and "close supply gaps" are in the foreground.
Numerous interested football fans found out about the projects at the rehabilepro stand compared to the south grandstand. The coaches of the respective initiatives were there and explained their work. In addition, the project management was available for technical questions about the federal program and the projects. Before the game, the Darmstadt project management Stefanie Pföhler and project coordinator Britta Sarwari presented the project in an interview with the stadium spokesman, which was broadcast live on the stadium screen.
Britta Sarwari was pleased with the positive response: “It was nice to see how many football fans were interested in our projects and our work. It is a matter of the heart of us as a job center network of Darmstadt and the district of Groß-Gerau to offer people with health restrictions a perspective and to support their return to working life. A big thank you goes to SV Darmstadt 98 for the opportunity to present our work. We look forward to being there again next season. "
