Construction work from April 20th to 24th will involve detours and changes to bus services
In Darmstadt, construction work will be carried out in the Wixhausen district on Frankfurter Landstraße from Monday, April 20th, until approximately Friday, April 24th, 2026.
The section is being completely renovated
The affected area is between the Messeler-Park-Straße intersection and the northern edge of the built-up area. The damaged road surface will be completely renewed over an area of approximately 1,500 square meters.
The project will cost approximately €127,000. Traffic disruptions are to be expected during the construction period.
Traffic diversions
Traffic from the south will be diverted via Messeler-Park-Straße and the GSI construction road to the B3 towards Egelsbach.
Traffic from the north can be routed past the construction site.
Changes to bus services
Public transport is also affected. Bus route 662 towards Egelsbach will be diverted during the construction work and will serve the "Merianstraße" stop as a replacement.
Passengers are asked to follow the instructions of the bus operator.
