Trainees receive financial and everyday knowledge about taxes, housing and insurance
Darmstadt. How do I find an apartment, what insurance do I really need, and how does the tax return actually work? The Future Day 2025 by the Darmstadt Rhein Main Neckar Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) , offers answers to these and other questions. Under the motto "Crash Course for Life," trainees and young professionals will receive a full-day overview of finances, housing, taxes, and insurance .
The free event will take place on Monday, November 24, 2025 , from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Darmstadt Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Rheinstraße 89. Registration is possible until November 3, 2025 at www.ihk.de/darmstadt (search number 6730476 ).
Financial knowledge for starting your career
As you embark on your career, topics that are usually only touched upon in school become important. At the Future Day, participants learn how to manage their finances , avoid debt , and properly conclude contracts .
In interactive workshops, speakers from the South Hesse business community and employees of the Hessian tax administration practical tips. The goal is to prepare young adults for everyday life – from their first apartment to filing their tax returns.
Cooperation for more life skills
The Future Day is organized by the Darmstadt Chamber of Industry and Commerce , the Hessian Ministry of Finance and the Initiative for Economic Youth Education .
“With the Future Day, we provide young people with the knowledge they really need to shape their lives independently,” says the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
