ENTEGA will be working on the gas network from August 31st – traffic will remain possible in both directions
Starting Monday, August 31, 2026, ENTEGA will be laying a new gas pipeline in the area of Fritz-Bauer-Straße/corner of Adelungstraße in Darmstadt. This construction project aims to complete a ring connection in the gas network, thereby ensuring a continued high level of supply security.
According to current plans, the work will last until Friday, September 25th. During this time, Fritz-Bauer-Straße will need to be crossed in three sections.
One lane in each direction remains open
Despite the construction work, Fritz-Bauer-Straße remains open to traffic in both directions. According to ENTEGA, one lane in each direction will be available throughout the entire construction period.
