Exciting journey through time on 31 October at the Kunstdepot Darmstadt
On Thursday, October 31, 2025 , the Darmstadt City Archives elementary school children to a special event: a ghost tour through the archive storage room at Darmstadt Art Depot (Mainzer Straße 83). Starting at 3:30 p.m., they embark on a mysterious journey of discovery through the city's history.
Among old files, documents, and historical objects, you'll find hidden traces of bygone times solve tricky puzzles 45-minute tour offers a playful approach to Darmstadt's history and demonstrates how vibrant archival work can be.
Participation is free . Each caregiver can bring up to two children , and the total number of accompanying adults is limited to ten . The tour is barrier-free – all rooms are on the ground floor and wheelchair accessible.
