An exciting journey through time awaits you on October 31st at the Darmstadt Art Depot
On Thursday, October 31, 2025 , the Darmstadt City Archives elementary school children to a special event: a ghost tour through the archive's at the Darmstadt Art Depot (Mainzer Straße 83). Starting at 3:30 p.m., the children will embark on a mysterious journey of discovery through the city's history.
Among old files, documents, and historical objects, participants will discover hidden traces of bygone eras solve tricky puzzles 45-minute tour offers a playful introduction to Darmstadt's history and demonstrates just how vibrant archival work can be.
Participation is free . Each accompanying adult can bring up to two children ; the total number of accompanying adults is limited to ten . The tour is wheelchair accessible – all rooms are on the ground floor and can be visited by wheelchair.
