The city of Griesheim continues to continue the development of the future residential area "Griesheimer Anger" . The discussion about the adaptation of the cooperation agreement with Sahle Wohnen GmbH & Co KG and the conclusion of an urban development contract with the city development company Griesheim (SEGG) .

Background: Conversion area Griesheimer Anger
The approximately 10 hectare area of the Griesheimer Angers is located in the southeast of the city, in the immediate vicinity of the August-Euger field. It was used militarily by the US armed forces for decades. Since 2009, the city has been negotiating the future of the area Federal Real Estate Agency (BIMA) In 2020, the joint purchase with the partner Sahle was living.
Since then, the SEGG has been planning the urban development as part of a development plan to create a new, sustainable city district in Griesheim.
