Concert in the Garden Salon on 1 November with works by Beethoven and Brahms
Seeheim-Jugenheim. The Kultur im Schloss Heiligenberg to a special chamber concert in the Garden Salon of Heiligenberg Castle on Saturday, November 1, 2025 , at 7 p.m. The guest will be the internationally renowned Guadagnini Trio , whose finely tuned interplay and interpretive depth make them one of the outstanding piano trios of their generation.
The ensemble—consisting of Alina Armonas-Tambrea (violin) , Edvardas Armonas (cello) , and Yannick Van de Velde (piano) —has been among the top performers in the chamber music scene for years. The trio regularly performs on major stages, including the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg , the Isarphilharmonie Munich , the Dresden Frauenkirche , and the Alte Oper Frankfurt .
Music between tradition and discovery
Founded in 2003, the trio is distinguished by its expressive sound design and experimental programming . In addition to classics, it regularly performs rarely performed works. In Heiligenberg, the ensemble will present a program featuring Ludwig van Beethoven's Trio in C minor, Op. 1/3 , and Johannes Brahms's Trio in B major, Op. 8 .
The trio takes its name from the violin played by Alina Armonas-Tambrea, which came from the workshop of the Italian violin-making family Guadagnini .
