Basic cleaning and modernization ensure more comfort and security
The Hallenbad Weiterstadt temporarily closed this summer for cleaning and maintenance work The closing time begins on Monday, July 7, 2025 , and ends on Sunday, August 17, 2025 . From Monday, August 18 , the bathroom will be open again from 1 p.m.
In addition to the annual basic cleaning, the city of Weiterstadt carries out extensive modernization and maintenance measures . The planned work include:
- Control and evaluation of the cracks on the 3-meter jumping tower
- Installation of a new outdoor lighting with motion detectors
- Embarrassing the flower water tank
- Maintenance of the showers and sanitary facilities
- Renewal of damaged tiles
- Maintenance of the main compressor
"The measures are necessary to permanently ensure security, hygiene and comfort in the indoor pool," emphasizes Mayor Ralf Möller . The city asks all bathers for understanding the temporary closure.
