Deep cleaning and modernization ensure greater comfort and safety
The Weiterstadt indoor swimming pool will be temporarily closed this summer for cleaning and maintenance work . The closure begins on Monday, July 7, 2025 , and ends on Sunday, August 17, 2025. The pool will reopen on Monday, August 18
modernization and maintenance work during the closure . The planned work includes:
- Inspection and assessment of the cracks on the 3-meter diving platform
- Installation of new outdoor lighting with motion detectors
- Repair of the surge tanks
- Maintenance of showers and sanitary facilities
- Replacing damaged tiles
- Main compressor maintenance
"These measures are necessary to ensure safety, hygiene, and comfort at the indoor swimming pool in the long term," emphasizes Mayor Ralf Möller . The city asks all pool visitors for their understanding regarding the temporary closure.
