Workshop for young people “Strong together after February 19th”
On March 29, 2025, the youth education center of the Groß-Gerau district, in cooperation with the municipal youth services of Bischofsheim, will offer a workshop on the fifth anniversary of the attack in Hanau.
On February 19, 2020, nine people were shot dead in Hanau in a racist attack. This act is one of many right-wing violence. "We want to discuss together what societal consequences this attack has and what it means for us personally. Above all, we will address the demands of those affected and have space for exchange," the organizers announced.
All young people aged 15 to 26 from the Groß-Gerau district are welcome to participate. Registration is open until March 14th and can be done via the registration form . Participation is free of charge. The workshop will take place on March 29, 2025, from 2 pm to 6 pm at the Bischofsheim Youth Center (Schulstraße 55). The event is part of the online youth magazine JUMA22 and the International Weeks Against Racism 2025.
