A journey through seven decades of Darmstadt's public transport
HEAG mobilo and ARGE Historische HEAG-Fahrzeuge invite you to a journey through the history of Darmstadt's trams over the long weekend.
Historic trams in Kranichstein
The exhibition hall for historic trams at Marburger Straße 16 in Kranichstein will open its doors on Thursday, May 14, Saturday, May 16, and Sunday, May 17.
It is open from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Visitors can view trams from seven decades. The exhibition is part of the Darmstadt-Kranichstein Railway Museum.
Arrival by tram is possible
The exhibition hall can be reached on foot via the "Waldspirale" stop of line 4 and the "Nordbahnhof" stop of line 8.
Food and drinks will be provided on site.
Historic rail bus connects both locations
Those wishing to visit the Kranichstein Railway Museum in addition can use a historic railway bus. This shuttles hourly between the two locations of the World Railway Days.
The railway museum at Kranichstein station is open from 10 am to 6 pm on the days of the event.
