Daniela Kirschner takes over as chair – dual leadership with Christine Braxton
The Eberstadt Association of Clubs (IG Eberstadter Vereine e. V.) has elected a new board. At the annual general meeting on Wednesday (24th), Daniela Kirschner elected as the new chairwoman. She succeeds Achim Pfeffer , who, along with his deputy Claudia Paulus, did not run for re-election.
The 27-year-old industrial engineering student works in the real estate industry, has deep family roots in Eberstadt, and was active in the 1876 gymnastics club for many years. Her goal is "to promote communication, openness, and to involve as many people as possible." In addition to focusing on the local fair and managing the barbecue pavilion, she wants to expand the work of the community group to include other topics in the future.
She will lead the organization jointly with Christine Braxton , the newly elected second chairwoman, who already heads the VdK Eberstadt . Dieter Wichmann , who is also the treasurer of the Turngemeinschaft 07 sports club .
The election, overseen by district administrator Ludwig Achenbach, also appointed the following members to the board: Rainer Frohnert, Stefan Handschuh, Karin Meichler-Dörr, Melanie Müller, Heiko Pfeffer, Rick Raupach, Björn Sievers, Michael Wahlig, and Benjamin Wesp . The board thus consists of both experienced and new members.
At the end of the meeting, Daniela Kirschner thanked the outgoing board for their many years of service – in addition to Achim Pfeffer and Claudia Paulus, also the treasurer Karin Meichler-Dörr and the secretary Liesel Radlinger . She said she looked forward to working with the new board, the Eberstadt clubs and all interested citizens.
