“ALL IN – a regular meeting place for everyone!” offers space for exchange and encounters
The inclusive regulars' table in the town of Griesheim, under the motto "ALL IN – a regulars' table for everyone!", will now take every first Wednesday of the month at 5:30 pm . People with disabilities and all interested parties are invited to exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere, share experiences, or simply chat with one another.
The venues change – the respective meeting point will be announced in due time.
Next meeting on June 4th with a guest from the EUTB
The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 4th, at the Georg-August-Zinn-Haus . Ulrike Hestermann from the Supplementary Independent Participation Advisory Service (EUTB). The EUTB supports people with disabilities and those at risk of developing a disability, offering comprehensive advice based on the principle of "one for all".
Looking back: Topics from the last meeting
at the last meeting on May 7th at Haus Waldeck The following topics, among others, were discussed
- the timetable change of line 9, which no longer serves accessible stops on weekends,
- the limited mobility in Griesheim,
- as well as the traffic light sequences on Wilhelm-Leuschner-Straße, which are too short for pedestrians with reduced mobility.
“Besides the serious topics, there was also plenty of friendly chatting and new contacts were made,” said Heike Maschke, disability officer of the city of Griesheim and initiator of the regular meeting.
