Choral music from Bella Italia on June 22nd at the Paul Gerhardt Church
The ESOC Chorus to a musical summer evening at the Paul Gerhardt Church in the Waldkolonie on Saturday, June 22, 2025, at 5 p.m. "Italian Soundscapes," the ensemble will present a multifaceted program full of passion, melody, and Mediterranean atmosphere.
Following successful concerts featuring music from Scandinavia, England, and France, the ESOC Chorus is now focusing on Italian choral music . Under the direction of Kushtrim Gashi, the audience can expect an emotional and varied repertoire, accompanied by piano and mandolin .
From Verdi to "O sole mio": An evening full of musical diversity
The concert includes works from different eras – from Renaissance madrigals to opera arias by Verdi , Puccini , Rossini and Monteverdi to classics such as “O sole mio” and “Time to Say Goodbye (Con te partirò)” by Andrea Bocelli.
The pianist Mizuho Quaiser-Itakura and the mandolinist Nataliya Korchynska will also solo pieces and musically enrich the evening.
Choir director Kushtrim Gashi emphasizes:
