The section between Waltherstraße and Gruberstraße is open to traffic again
Following the completion of the asphalt work in construction section 2 of Jägertorstraße , the section between Waltherstraße and Gruberstraße is reopened to vehicular traffic. Gruberstraße is also fully open to traffic again.
“Regardless of any remaining marking and finishing work, Jägertorstraße between Waltherstraße and Gruberstraße can be reopened to traffic. This is welcome news just before the Christmas holidays,” explains Head of Transport Paul Georg Wandrey .
Further work is planned for 2026
In 2026, marking work and other finishing touches required in the Jägertorstraße area. The continuation of the work is weather-dependent and is scheduled for the first quarter of 2026 .
The current construction phase between Gruberstraße and Hammelstrift will remain closed during the winter break. cyclists and pedestrians to use Jägertorstraße without restrictions in this section .
