Baking, crafting and ice skating for children and teenagers in Reinheim
In 2026, the City of Reinheim's Youth Services invites children and young people aged 9 to 17 to a diverse leisure program at JUCASINO in Georgenhausen/Zeilhard. The new winter program was developed jointly by the staff and the young people themselves and focuses on creative, athletic, and social activities.
The open meeting will reopen its doors for the first time in the new year on January 13, 2026. The official program kicks off on January 20 with a joint baking session where cinnamon rolls will be made.
Ice skating as the program highlight
A special highlight is coming up on January 24, 2026 : Then everyone will go ice skating together at the Darmstadt ice rink .
Departure is at 1:00 PM from the Hofgut (in front of the JUZ) and at 1:15 PM from the JUCASINO in Georgenhausen/Zeilhard. Return is scheduled for 5:00 PM at the JUCASINO and 5:15 PM at the Hofgut.
Participation costs €7 , plus €4.50 for skate rental. Advance registration is required for this trip.
Creative and social activities until the end of February
The rest of the program includes numerous activities:
- January 28: Modeling with air-dry clay
- February 5th: Monopoly Day
- February 11: Making a piñata
- February 17th: Carnival party (costumes welcome)
- February 26: Baking pizza rolls together
The children's and youth services department would like to remind everyone that another indoor soccer tournament will take place on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Registration is required for this event as well.
City youth officer Siggi Elsner and city youth officer Robin Korndörfer emphasize that the program is deliberately designed so that children and young people can actively contribute their own ideas and wishes.
