SV Darmstadt 98 agreed with FC Ashdod to transfer of the Polish keeper
Goalkeeper Karol Niemczycki leaves SV Darmstadt 98 and permanently changes to Israeli first division club FC Ashdod . The 25-year-old Pole had been loaned to the club since January 2025. Now both clubs reached an agreement on a permanent transfer. The removal modalities were agreed not to disclose.
Paul Fernie, sporting director of SV 98, explains:
"Karol performed well in Israel and contributed an enormous part to relegation of his club. The interest of FC Ashdod was correspondingly great in a firm obligation. Since Karol also stored this wish and our economic conditions were fulfilled, we have approved the transfer." We wish him all the best. "
Karol Niemczycki changed from Fortuna Düsseldorf to Darmstadt in July 2024. For the lilies, he completed a competitive game in the DFB Cup.
