Around 70 volunteers are committed to clean city - city thanks all helpers
Around 70 citizens from all districts with great commitment took part in this year's city -wide garbage collection campaign. A total of around 7.5 cubic meters of garbage - around 700 kilograms - were collected and disposed of properly. The city thanks all helpers as well as the environmental sponsors for their commitment to a clean environment.

A particularly rubbed section in the flax ditch near Gräfenhausen presented the helpers with challenges. In addition to bulky waste, old clothes and several old tires were found there. A lot came together at various glass container locations-including three car loads full of collected waste.
Volunteers of all ages - from children to senior citizens and seniors participated. Mayor Ralf Möller praised the campaign: "What was carried out today in further town is a lived responsibility for our environment. Thank you to everyone who has participated - your commitment makes our city more livable."

Finally, the city invited everyone involved to grill together at the town hall - as a thank you for the active commitment. The all -year -old environmental sponsors were particularly praised, which are continuously committed to a clean further city.
