Every first Wednesday of the month in the community hall – help with technical questions and repairs
The municipality of Nauheim focuses on community and practical help: Every first Wednesday afternoon of the month from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm, two open events take place in the community hall at Sportfeld 16 – the Digital Café and the Repair Café .
At the Digital Café, volunteer helpers are on hand to answer questions about smartphones, tablets, and PCs. Whether it's messaging services like WhatsApp, taking photos with your phone, using search engines, or handling email and office applications – everything is explained and practiced together in a relaxed atmosphere. You can bring your own devices to practice on-site. The goal is to help you navigate the digital world with greater confidence and security in your everyday life.
At the same time, the Repair Café opens its doors. Under the motto "Help for self-help, " volunteer "experts" work together with visitors to repair broken everyday appliances. Whether household appliances, consumer electronics, toys, or bicycles – many things can be repaired with a bit of skill and know-how.
Both programs are open to everyone and are part of the community initiative to promote practical support and sustainability. Alternative dates are offered for public holidays.
