Young people will be collecting donations for projects from March 14th to April 2nd
The annual youth fundraising week will take place in Nauheim from March 14th to April 2nd, 2026. As the municipality announces, the Hessian Youth Council is once again calling on the public to support youth work in clubs and associations.
Community project with a long tradition
The Youth Collection Week has been a joint project of fundraising groups, youth welfare offices, and the Hessian Youth Council for more than 70 years. Once a year, young people go door to door to collect donations for their youth work and to implement their own projects.
The funds raised are used, for example, for new equipment for group rooms, games and materials, or for financing excursions. In Hesse, around 75,000 people are involved in youth associations to provide children and young people with meaningful leisure activities. Reliable funding is considered a crucial foundation for this.
Get involved in Nauheim
Young people in Nauheim are also participating in the fundraising campaign. Citizens can get involved in two ways: as donors or as collectors.
Youth groups and clubs wishing to participate in the collection should contact the municipality of Nauheim directly. There, they will receive the necessary identification cards, collection lists, and information on the allocation of collection areas.
Of the funds raised, 50 percent remain with the local associations for their work. 20 percent goes to the youth welfare office for youth work in the district, and 30 percent goes to the Hessian Youth Council to support supra-regional projects.
