Free information event on March 4th explains advantages of environmental management for companies
Sustainability and legal certainty play an increasingly important role for companies. Environmental management systems offer a good basis for using resources more efficient, detecting savings potential and improving operational processes. A proven introduction to this topic is the eco -profit program.
Since 2004, the Groß-Gerau district with companies as part of Ökrofit Südhessen . The project supports companies in sustainable transformation by offering practical workshops and expert support from the Arqum . In 2023, ÖKOPROFIT was recognized by the EU as a preliminary stage for the demanding environmental management system EMAS .
Online information event on March 4th
On Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., the Groß-Gerau district invites you to a free online information event . The agenda includes:
- Jens Böhm (Arqum) : Presentation of the content, processes and advantages of eco -profit.
- Patrick Ehmann (climate protection specialist service, Groß-Gerau district administration) : Experience report on the successful participation of the district administration in eco-profit.
- Pascal Guthier (Röhriggranit GmbH) : Experience report from corporate practice.
The event also offers sufficient space for individual questions. All South Hessian companies -also outside the Groß-Gerau district-are invited to participate.
