The fundraising campaign enables the basement ranch for African wild cats
The youth center Old School in Gräfenhausen is again involved in animal welfare and has taken over another animal sponsorship at Kellerranch eV. According to previous sponsorships for a pastel fox, nose bears and smells, the young people are now sponsored for two African servals, Monroe and Alwin flame.
The fundraising campaign on the Advent market enables sponsorship
The financial basis for the new sponsorship was laid in a waffle sales campaign on the Gräfenhäuser Advent market . The young people collected a total of 255 euros , which they now handed over to the basement to support the enclosure of the two wild cats.
"We are proud to be able to contribute to animal welfare with our donation. It is impressive how much work the cellar ranch invests in the care of the animals," said a spokesman for the youth center.
Visiting the basement leaves the last impression
As part of an excursion, the young people were able to experience the basement and their residents up close . On site, Karl-Heinz Keller informed about the background of animal rescue , bureaucratic challenges, care costs and the importance of species-appropriate attitude. Monroe and Alwin-Flame , originally from private posture, came to Weiterstadt via a zoo and a sanctuary and now share a species-appropriate enclosure on the ranch.
Commitment to animal welfare
With their commitment, the young people also want to motivate others to adopt animal sponsorships or to support the association . Information on the cellar ranch and the various support options can be found at:
