Film weekend on July 18th and 19th featuring a music biography and a social drama
Against the historic backdrop of Dornberg Castle , the inner courtyard will be transformed into an atmospheric open-air cinema July 18th and 19th, 2025. The district town of Groß-Gerau, together with the Lichtspielhaus cinema and the Cinebar Groß-Gerau, invites you to two special film evenings.
The festival kicks off on Friday, July 18th with the biopic "Better Man – The Robbie Williams Story ," which traces the eventful life of the British pop star. On Saturday, July 19th (Beautiful will be shown .
Mayor Jörg Rüddenklau praised the partners' commitment: "Since we are still operating under a provisional budget, holding such cultural events is only possible thanks to strong cooperation. My special thanks go to the cinema as the organizer, the district adult education center for providing the castle courtyard, and all our supporters."
Tickets, admission and catering
Doors open 8:00 PM on both evenings , and the film starts after nightfall, around 9:45 PM . Seating is available in the castle courtyard .

The StreetBackBoys provide refreshments with fresh tarte flambée, the Lichtspielhaus team with popcorn, and Gelatissimo with a stylish ice cream truck (Fiat 500) .
