City Library presents its online service “Onleihe” on 24 October
Darmstadt. On Friday, October 24 , the Literaturhaus Darmstadt (Kasinostraße 3) will open its doors from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitors can explore the house and the associations and institutions involved in literary and cultural activities there.
Readings, book tables, guided tours, exhibitions, music, and discussions offer diverse insights into the Literaturhaus's vibrant network. "We are delighted that the Literaturhaus Darmstadt can showcase its entire cultural and literary repertoire on this day—from literature education and archival work to artistic projects," said Mayor Hanno Benz . "The house thrives on its commitment and openness."

Darmstadt City Library also people to its "Open Library Day" on October 24th "Online Library" ( hessen.onleihe.de ). From 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., staff will be available to answer questions about using the online library and assist with setting up the devices. The meeting point is the central information desk at the main branch in the Justus Liebig House (Große Bachgasse 2). Registration is not required.
Education Director Holger Klötzner emphasizes: "Regardless of opening hours, the City Library's digital offerings are available around the clock. Come by on Open Library Day—we'll be happy to explain how it works."
