Science City Darmstadt invites you to an insight into the renovation work on 30 August
Darmstadt-Eberstadt. The renovation of the Mühltalbad swimming pool is clearly making progress: Following the installation of the new children's pool in July, the two new slides have now been delivered and installed. Water will soon be allowed back into the main pool – another important milestone.
To give everyone interested a first-hand look at the current status, the Science City of Darmstadt is hosting an "Open Construction Site Day" on Saturday, August 30, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mayor and Head of Sports Hanno Benz will welcome visitors, followed by a presentation by experts and planners on the progress of the construction work.
The architecture and technology will be presented first at the panoramic windows, while the new, open-plan pool concept will take center stage above the large pool. "With this day, we want to not only provide information but also build anticipation for the reopening next year," says Benz.
