Two groups enjoy idyllic paths, bridges and a quaint restaurant in perfect weather
Sunny weather, natural trails, and plenty to discover: The latest hike organized by the Odenwald Club (OWK) Groß-Gerau led 46 participants to the Obrunn Gorge near Höchst in the Odenwald. The idyllic gorge is known for its imaginative miniature buildings and fairytale figures that await visitors along the trail.
The hiking route led across numerous small bridges and through shady forest paths to Mümling-Grumbach. From there, the group continued past the historic mountain church – with a view of the waiting bus. The day concluded in the beer garden of the "Zum Jonny" restaurant in Hetschbach, where the participants enjoyed the beautiful weather.
The two hiking groups covered distances of 9 and 12 kilometers respectively. Hiking coordinator Beate Bolbach thanked Dieter Nau and Reiner Dietz for the organization and the excellent guiding. All participants were enthusiastic about the varied tour and the successful blend of experiencing nature and enjoying each other's company.
