Exercise, team spirit and fun on November 15th in the multi-purpose hall
On Saturday, November 15, 2025 , the Reinheim Children's and Youth Services to a varied parkour workshop at the Spachbrücken multi-purpose hall . Led by trainer Alexandra Schuchmann and municipal youth worker Robin Korndörfer, participants can expect a sporty program full of movement, skill, and team spirit.
The workshop has been revised and better tailored to different age groups.
- 10 to 11 a.m.: Children aged 6 to 7
- 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Children aged 8 to 12
The participation fee is 5 euros for the one-hour session and 10 euros for the two-hour session .
“With the new division, we are creating an even more individualized and child-friendly training experience,” explains city youth worker Robin Korndörfer . “This allows us to provide targeted support for the children while simultaneously focusing on the fun of movement.”
The workshop promotes strength, endurance, flexibility, and coordination, but also strengthens mental skills such as concentration, self-assessment, and problem-solving. The goal is to show children how to better control their movements, assess risks, and overcome fears.
Mayor Manuel Feick emphasizes the importance of such programs:
“Exercise is a key component of healthy development. I am very pleased that with the parkour workshop we are giving children the opportunity to discover and strengthen their skills in this area – with lots of fun and under expert guidance.”
