The municipal music school offers a drumming course for nine- to twelve-year-olds
The Groß-Gerau Municipal Music School will start a percussion workshop for children and young people aged nine to twelve on Friday, February 20, 2026.
The course focuses on hand drums. The workshop is led by music school instructor Christoph Adriaensen. In addition to rhythmic fundamentals, the emphasis is on playing music together and the experience of being part of a group. The aim is to playfully foster an understanding of rhythm and percussion instruments. For some participants, this could also spark an interest in taking drum lessons later on.
Lessons at Dornheim Primary School
The workshop takes place every Friday from 3:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Dornheim Elementary School, Am Sportfeld 5. The program runs until the summer holidays and comprises a total of twelve lessons.
The minimum number of participants is eight. The participation fee is 63 euros.
