Up to €1,175 subsidy for new PV systems – Free consultation available
The city of Griesheim continues to support the expansion of renewable energies: Sufficient funding is still available in the second half of the year as part of a subsidy program for photovoltaic (PV) systems that was approved at the beginning of June. Griesheim households can a subsidy of up to €1,175 for a newly installed PV system.
Funding is available for installations with a capacity of more than two kilowatts peak (kWp) . A prerequisite for funding is that the project has not yet commenced application including a cost estimate is submitted beforehand
“The program offers Griesheim residents an important incentive to invest in sustainable energy supply. In doing so, we are making a concrete contribution to climate protection and driving the expansion of renewable energies locally,” said climate protection manager Jörg Glock .

Individual consultation and PV potential analysis
Those interested can also register for a free energy consultation . This takes place every Friday by appointment. A PV potential analysis available upon request – to assess whether installing a system on one's own roof is worthwhile.
