The first measures of the new playground concept start in Goddelau and Crumstadt
The Büchnerstadt begins with the implementation of its new playground concept for the years 2025 to 2029 . The aim is to specifically improve the use and equipment of the playgrounds and to adapt the actual needs of children and families in the districts. The first specific measures concern the districts of Goddelau and Crumstadt .
The focus is on the playground in Konrad-Adenauer-Straße in Goddelau , which will no longer be used as a playground in the future. During the inspection, the working group found playgrounds that this location was rarely visited. Children prefer the nearby facilities in the Volkspark or the park. However, the area is preserved as a green area.
The play equipment available there will not be disposed of, but are used at other locations . It starts with the climbing combination system with a slide , which will be used Katharina-von-Bora-Straße playground in Crumstadt There she replaces a dilapidated wooden ship that was badly damaged due to a fungal infestation.
Participation from all districts
The concept is based on a broad inventory: Last year, a city council "Riedstadt's playgrounds" was founded at a unanimous decision of the city council. Sub -groups were formed in each district, which together with an employee of the building yard analyzed the playgrounds based on an evaluation sheet.
The composition of the groups ensured a variety of perspectives: representatives of the city council, educators, employees of the youth office and five to six parents per group participated. Previously, families in Riedstadt had also been called up via day care centers and schools.
The resulting playground concept 2025-2029 is now the basis for the long -term further development of the scope in the city. Further redesign and measures are being planned.
