Darmstadt City Library invites children aged three and up to an intercultural reading hour
The main branch of the Darmstadt City Library in the Justus Liebig House (Große Bachgasse 2) invites you to a Portuguese-German story time Saturday, May 24, 2025 , at 11 a.m. The event is for children aged three and up and is free of charge .
The readings alternate between Portuguese and German , so that even children without prior knowledge of Portuguese can easily follow along. The event promotes linguistic diversity love of reading and intercultural curiosity in children .
Reading aloud in several languages is part of the city library's intercultural education offerings and contributes to language development and integration .
