Diverse music program with artists and bands from the region until September 20th
The Darmstadt Promenade Concerts invite you to enjoy musical summer moments under the open sky until September 20, 2026. Visitors can expect a diverse program featuring regional artists and bands from various musical genres. Admission is free.
The concerts take place at various venues throughout the city, including the bandstand in the Herrngarten, the concert stage in the Orangerie garden, the canopy of the Rosarium in the Rosenhöhe park, the lakeside stage at the Brentanowiese in Kranichstein, the kiosk 1975 in the Postsiedlung and the Café-Biergarten Haus der Vereine in Eberstadt.
Among those participating are the Darmstadt Music Corps, the Kranichstein Choir, ToniSwings, the TSG 1882 Wixhausen Youth Wind Orchestra, the Sopranixen, Songbird, Brasso con toni, the Griesheim Brass Band's Student Orchestra, the Swing-Sound-Orchestra, JaponSon, 5nach12, Just Friends, Jazzy James, the Pickin' Rooster Band, El grupo NICEFIELD, Gersprenz Valley, NoCountry, the Soli 7 Gospel Ensemble, Fritz Stock and Friends, Mammas & Babbas, WattNu, the Swinging Tuxedos together with Petra Bassus, Brass-On-Mission, Git on Boa'D and singer-songwriter Reiner Z.
The concert series combines musical diversity with a summery atmosphere, creating vibrant meeting places for people of all generations. Whether jazz, swing, brass band music, folk, gospel, or modern popular music – the promenade concerts stand for cultural enjoyment in a relaxed setting and enrich Darmstadt's cultural life year after year.
