Radio Darmstadt, known as a radar, brings an exciting examination of the life and work of the famous writer Georg Büchner with the new “Büchner World” series. The first episode runs on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. on FM 103.4 MHz, DAB+ and in the live stream. After that, the shipment is regularly broadcast every second and fourth Thursday of the month from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The show is moderated by Luise and Peter Brunner , who are immersed in the fascinating world of Georg Büchner. It is not just about his works and revolutionary ideas, but also about his family, his environment and the numerous relationships that extend to the present.

Peter Brunner, head of the Büchnerhaus in Riedstadt-Goddelau, has been dealing intensively with the Büchner family for decades. He is a co-author of the family biography "The Büchner or the attempt to change the world" and co-founder of the Luise Büchner-Gesellschaft . Together with his daughter Luise Brunner , sociologist and union secretary, he investigates open questions in every broadcast - from the political and historical backgrounds to literary analyzes to the modern references of Büchner's topics.
