Detours for traffic and bus routes – construction costs around 205,000 euros
The city of Darmstadt will be resurfacing the asphalt of Pallaswiesenstraße between Kasinostraße and Frankfurter Straße Monday, May 19, 2025. The work will require a full closure of the affected section and is expected to be completed by June 6 .
Detours for residents, cyclists and bus routes
- Access for residents:
Parcusstraße and southern Viktoriastraße can be reached via Kahlertstraße . - Cycling:
The eastern cycle path on Kasinostraße will be diverted via a temporary path on the roadway. The eastern lane of Kasinostraße will be closed for this purpose. - Public transport:
During the specified period, HEAG mobilo and DADINA bus lines will Frankfurter Straße – Bismarckstraße – Kasinostraße . Further details can be found on the notices posted by the transport companies.
This measure is part of ongoing road maintenance and aims to increase traffic safety and Darmstadt's infrastructure . The total cost amounts to approximately €205,000 .
