The children's and youth services offer activities for 9- to 13-year-olds.
As the Reinheim Youth Services department announces, the winter holiday program begins even before the official start of the school holidays. Between December 13, 2025 and January 8, 2026, several varied activities are available for children and young people aged 9 to 13.
Podcast project at the JUZ Reinheim
To kick things off, a meeting will take place at the youth center (JUZ) on Saturday, December 13th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. A podcast on the topic "How do children see their environment?" will be prepared there. The recording will take place on January 6th, 2026, at Radio Darmstadt. Participation is free of charge. Broadcast on the same day is possible.
A trip to the Bioversum Darmstadt
On Wednesday, January 7th, participants will visit the Bioversum at Kranichstein Hunting Lodge. The focus will be on the topic "How do animals live in winter?". The participation fee is 10 euros per child.
Visit to the goat farm in Groß-Bieberau
The program concludes on Thursday, January 8th, with a trip to the "Kleine Ziegen" goat farm in Groß-Bieberau. A participation fee of 10 euros will also be charged for this trip.
