The rescue chain works smoothly - thanks to first aiders, control centers and emergency services
A medical emergency on March 30, 2025 ended thanks to the perfect interaction of the rescue workers with a happy turn: Harald Klein , who suffered a sudden cardiovascular arrest , was successfully reanimated and completely healthy from the hospital.
The decisive factor was the quick reaction of those present who noticed the emergency and immediately informed the central control center of the Groß-Gerau district . Before the emergency services arrived, this began with life -saving measures - supported by telephone guidance for revival .
Mobile rescuers on site in record time
At the same time, professional help was mobilized through the first aid app "Mobile Savior" : two qualified helpers arrived within a few minutes and continued the resuscitation measures. Shortly afterwards, the emergency services took over medical care and brought the patient to a nearby hospital. Already on the following day, Harald Klein awakened from the artificial coma - a success that impressively proves the efficiency of the entire rescue chain.
"Our over 600 active first aiders are on average 3:30 minutes at the scene," says Dr. Marco Renth , Medical Head of Rescue Service in the Groß-Gerau district. Daniel Becker also praises the coordinated approach: "It starts on the phone - every second counts. This interaction saves life."
Personal thanks for the commitment
After Harald Klein had completely recovered, he expressed the desire to thank his rescuers personally. In June there was a moving meeting with the mobile rescuers, the operational team and representatives of the own rescue service at the rescue station in Walldorf. The patient was deeply grateful:
"Without this perfect interaction, I wouldn't be here today."
