SG Stockstadt-Biebesheim crowns winners and honors last place with cheese bread
Last Saturday, SG Stockstadt-Biebesheim held its traditional "SchnappDich" tournament . Numerous participants competed with great ambition for every pin – supported by an enthusiastic audience who cheered the players on loudly.
In the end, Sascha Schmirmund and Miloe Andić victorious with a commanding 572 pins came in second Helmut Göbel and Michael Molter, narrowly missing out on the win, but they were rewarded with vouchers to "spend on Prosecco." Third place went to Markus Wenner and Peter Seitz, who received a six-pack of beer as their prize.
The traditional consolation prize for last place – the legendary cheese sandwich – went this year to Katja Leuthäuser and Karl-Heinz Brettnich. After the awards ceremony, all participants and guests enjoyed a convivial afternoon together – a fitting end to the popular tournament, which has long enjoyed cult status in the region.
