Magistrate decides to submit the plan to the Hessian Ministry of Culture / focus on quality, perspectives and challenges by 2030
The science city of Darmstadt has presented a new school development plan for vocational schools by 2030 . In its meeting of May 21, 2025, the magistrate took note of the final version of the plan and decided to submit the Hessian Ministry of Culture, Education and Opportunities .
Vocational training with a future
The plan analyzes the current framework conditions , outlines development perspectives and names central challenges for vocational schools in Darmstadt. The aim is to secure
future -proof and high -quality educational landscape School head Holger Klötzner emphasizes:
"The plan analyzes framework conditions, development perspectives and challenges of vocational schools. It also outlines a vision for a high -quality professional educational landscape in Darmstadt in the future. Practical vocational training is anything but a discontinued model."
Public participation procedure completed
As early as February 19, 2025, the magistrate passed the draft of the school development plan and initiated a public participation procedure. This took place between February 24 and March 13, 2025 .
The feedback received by the municipal school office required no fundamental adjustments, so that the final version is now to the Ministry of Culture State School Office .
