Schulstraße in Darmstadt invites you to the Schulstraßenfest (School Street Festival) Saturday, September 6, 2025 , from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Locally owned shops will open their doors and present themselves together with stalls, special offers, and handmade products – right in the heart of Darmstadt's Martinsviertel district.

Schulstraße is considered one of Darmstadt's most charming shopping streets , the merchants show off their vibrant side – with lovingly decorated stalls , hands-on activities , and plenty of opportunity for personal conversation .
The program includes:
- Sewing and craft workshops for young and old
- a scavenger hunt for children
- a balloon artist
- culinary offerings – including vegan dishes
- Live music and relaxing background sounds
The street festival is aimed at regular customers, curious visitors, and families from the neighborhood. The goal is to celebrate Schulstraße as a place of encounter, creativity, and vibrant diversity—with "favorite shops with style and soul," as the organizers put it.
