The Schulstraße in Darmstadt invites you to its annual Schulstraße Festival Saturday, September 6, 2025 , from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Owner-operated shops will open their doors and present themselves together with stalls, activities, and handmade products – right in the heart of Darmstadt's Martinsviertel district.
Personal, creative and local
Schulstraße is considered one of Darmstadt's most charming shopping streets , the retailers show their most vibrant side – with lovingly decorated stalls , interactive activities , and plenty of space for personal conversations .
The program includes, among other things:
- Sewing and crafting workshops for young and old
- a scavenger hunt for children
- a balloon artist
- Culinary offerings – including vegan dishes
- Live music and relaxing background sounds
The street festival is aimed at regular customers, curious visitors, and families from the neighborhood. The goal is to celebrate Schulstraße as a place of encounter, creativity, and vibrant diversity – with "favorite shops with style and soul," as the organizers put it.
