Theater 3D shows "Outsider" in the Moller Haus theater
In the play “Outsider” by Michael Bijnes, the Theater 3D in the Moller Haus theater goes on a search for traces. Theodore Kaczynski was considered a mathematically highly gifted child prodigy. In 1969, however, he ended his previously successful academic career to pursue a simple life as a dropout in the forests of Montana in a self -made hut without electricity and flowing water.
The progressive destruction of nature in the surrounding area of his hut has more and more difficult his life than self -catering. In 1978 he began to commit attacks on people who were in connection with new technology at the time. Kaczynski described the attacks as "extreme but necessary". Theodore Kaczynski, also known as in -moses, speaks in the monologue "Outsider". Prepares for his last appearance in front of the jury of his legal proceedings. Explains, reports, justified, desperate and always begins. A frenzied monologue of a desperate who still has hope.
With "Outsider" we go on a search for traces: How does a highly gifted "child prodigy" and math professor only become an outsider living in the forest and finally a terrorist? How do manifest bombs arise? How and where can a society accelerate or brake such a "drifting" or brakes? What if?
Under the direction of Beate Krist and in the stage design of Manuela Pirozzi, Moritz Buch plays in the German premiere of Michael Bijnes piece. The piece is suitable for young people aged 15 and over.
