Borrow books, Tonies and e-books without a summer break
Good news for readers in Seeheim-Jugenheim: The media library in the Forum at the town hall will remain open throughout the summer holidays during its regular opening hours. Book lovers of all ages can therefore access its services even during the holiday period.
For children and young people, numerous books in the fiction and non-fiction categories, as well as TipToi books and Tonies, are available. Adults will find a wide selection of fiction. The collection is complemented by non-fiction books with a local focus, travel literature, and works on the Holocaust. Furthermore, users can borrow digital media such as e-books via the online lending service.
Registration online or on site
To use the media library, registration is required. This can be done either online via your own mobile device or directly on site. After registration, users receive a library card.
The ID card costs a one-time fee of three euros; the usage fee for twelve months is 15 euros.
The media library is open Tuesdays from 3 pm to 6 pm, Wednesdays from 9 am to 12 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm, Thursdays from 3 pm to 7 pm, and Fridays from 10 am to 1 pm. Additionally, the media library is open on the first Saturday of the month from 10 am to 1 pm.
