Training planned for autumn – information evening on July 14th, both on-site and online
The self-help office in the Groß-Gerau district is seeking new volunteers to moderate self-help groups . This important task can be particularly valuable when starting new groups. Self-help groups offer those affected the opportunity to exchange experiences with others and receive mutual support.
Since 2019, the self-help office in the Groß-Gerau district has been successfully employing so-called "facilitators" who support new groups during their initial phase. The time commitment ranges from two to six hours per month, depending on the needs of the group.

A free training course for new volunteers is planned for the fall. The aim is to expand the existing team and support new groups on their journey.
