Three routes to choose from - Mayor Akdeniz accompanies the participants
to the Heiner Festival on Friday, July 4, 2025 . The meeting point is at 10.30 a.m. at the "Schwarzer Weg" bus stop (inland in Kranichsteiner Straße). There Mayor Barbara Akdeniz the participants personally.
"Two groups with different route lengths are offered again, so that all participants can run at their pace and enjoy the hike," explains Mayor Akdeniz.
Three route lengths for different needs
Are offered:
- A short route for wheelchair users and people with a rollator (telephone registration required: 06151 13-2872),
- an average route over 4.5 kilometers ,
- as well as a long route over 7.5 kilometers .
All routes are made by the Senior Sports Club Darmstadt e. V. conducted under the direction of Norbert Schmidt, Edmund Meier and Klaus Hochstätter Mayor Akdeniz will hike and is available on the go for talks.
Supervision, snack and thanks to the supporters
The Johanniter accident aid , volunteers as well as employees of the social affairs and advice service accompany the hike. At the destination in the “ Heinergadde ” of the Hausmann company, the participants can expect a free snack with drinks - an invitation from the science city of Darmstadt. The city thanks all sponsors who enable the event.
Participation is free. It hikes in any weather.
