Podium places in the city run, Heinerman and Ironman Frankfurt - strong performances despite summer heat
The triathletes of SG Arheilgen have had an eventful and sporty week. At several competitions in Darmstadt, Dieburg and Frankfurt, they were able to achieve strong placements- both in the individual and in the team competition.
Podium places at the Darmstadt city run
At the 47th Darmstadt city run on Wednesday, June 25th, over 5 kilometers, six SGA triathletes and three triathletes started. Marina Lefort (W50) reached 1st place in her age group with a time of 21:41 minutes was particularly successful Frauke Hübner (W40) was also on the top podium with 23:21 minutes.

Dieburg city run and Heinerman-Triathlon
Simone Barabas competed over 4 kilometers on Saturday, June 28th, also at the 24th Dieburg city run and reached the finish in 19:02 minutes .
On Sunday, June 29, the traditional Heinerman-Triathlon in Darmstadt followed. On the Olympic distance (1.5 km swimming - 40 km bike - 10 km running) convinced:
- Marina Lefort (W50): 2:41:04 hours, 1st place AK
- Jutta Cymank (W55): 3:04:18 hours, 3rd place AK
- Claudia Jehn (W50) and
- Stephan ProSser (M50): 2:30:30 a.m., 1st place AK
At the everyone's distance (0.75 km-20 km-5 km):
- Stefan Wesarg (M50): 1:26 hours, 3rd place AK
- Simon Elfe (M45)
- Jens Prize (M40)
- Stephan Lich (M60)
Ironman Frankfurt in extreme heat
, Dagmar Backes, Nadine Krisch, Kathrin Ortland, Anselm Schüle and Lukas Beckmann ventured to the legendary Ironman Frankfurt (3.8 km swimming - 180 km bike - 42.2 km running). All SGA starters mastered the challenge and arrived safely and proudly at the finish -an impressive proof of perseverance and team spirit.
