Victories at the Twistesee Triathlon, the 3sathlon and the Heegbach Run
On Sunday, September 14th, the athletes of the SGA successful at three events. They achieved podium finishes Twistesee Triathlon in Bad Arolsen , the 3sathlon in Mühltal , and the Heegbach Run in Erzhausen
Victories at the Heegbach Run
In sunny running weather, Simone Barabas and Marcus Ortland tackled the "double figure eight" (6.4 km) in Erzhausen and both took first place in their respective age groups. Barabas (W45) crossed the finish line after 30:27 minutes , and Ortland (M50) after 27:20 minutes .
Podium finishes at the 3sathlon in Mühltal
Two SGA triathletes shone over the distances of 0.55 km swimming, 20 km cycling and 5 km running
- Barbara Vierling (W45) won her age group with a time 1:24:10 hours
- Dagmar Backes second place in the W55 age group with a time of 1:38:39 hours
Team victory at the Twistesee Triathlon
At the Twistesee Triathlon in Bad Arolsen over the Olympic distance ( 1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling, 10 km running ), the team of the SGA triathlon department secured the overall victory in the 2nd senior league out of eight teams.
- Anselm Schüle won the M40 age group in 2:36:49 hours .
- Stephan Prosser finished second in the M50 age group with a time of 2:43:28 hours .
- Guido Götz finished the race after 2:49:59 hours .
- Axel Reinhardt had to end the race prematurely due to calf problems while running.
Despite the setback, the team was very satisfied with the overall success.
