A new open singing program invites people to the Paulussaal once a month
Singing together, rediscovering familiar songs, and spending a pleasant afternoon together: The Evangelical Paulus Parish in Darmstadt is launching its new open program "Singing with Hartwig" on Wednesday, August 19, 2026. Everyone who enjoys singing together is invited to join once a month.
The participants will be accompanied by accordion player Hartwig Zeidler. The program includes well-known songs such as "Kein schöner Land" and "Die Gedanken sind frei." No prior choral experience or special musical knowledge is required.
Familiar songs and a convivial atmosphere
Hartwig Zeidler accompanies the singers on the accordion, occasionally playing individual pieces and providing commentary throughout the afternoon. According to Pastor Amina Bruch-Cincar, the focus is not on musical rigor, but rather on the joy of singing together and the opportunity to connect.
Coffee and cake further enhance the convivial atmosphere. The offer is open to everyone.
