Despite Lidberg's lead, the Red Devils turn the game around
SV Darmstadt 98 suffered their first defeat of the season on Sunday evening. At the historic Betzenberg stadium in Kaiserslautern, the Lilies lost 3-1 (0-0) to 1. FCK. Things initially looked promising: Isaac Lidberg gave the South Hesse side the lead with a clever goal in the 62nd minute. A little later, Fraser Hornby could have even increased their lead, but FCK keeper Krahl made a strong save. Kaiserslautern turned the game around in the closing stages: Skyttä equalized in the 84th minute, before Alidou (90th+1) and Raschl (90th+4) sealed the final score in stoppage time. The bitter end: After a committed performance, the Lilies came away empty-handed this time.
