Advisory services in Groß-Gerau will be consolidated in the future
The social and integration office of the city of Groß-Gerau is moving to new premises in Haus Raiss at Frankfurter Straße 46. The previously rented offices at Am Sandböhl will be vacated. With the move, Haus Raiss is intended to become a meeting place for generations and cultures.
The senior services at Haus Raiss will remain unaffected by this move. The aim is to consolidate advisory services in one central location.
Limited availability during the move
Due to the relocation, the team at the Social and Integration Office will have limited availability for a few days. Regular operations are expected to resume on Thursday, February 26th. Contact persons, telephone numbers, and email addresses will remain unchanged.
The Raiss House is located near the Groß-Gerau train station. The entrance is on the left side of the building, as you enter from the courtyard. The offices are on the first floor, and there is an elevator. A dedicated mailbox for the Social and Integration Office is also available.
Advice on social issues and integration
The Social and Integration Office offers social and life counseling for residents of Groß-Gerau. Topics include securing one's livelihood and housing, personal and family conflicts, as well as health and psychosocial issues. The office also provides assistance with completing applications and, if necessary, refers residents to other services.
The relocation also affects the contact persons for naturalization issues and for voluntary engagement in refugee work.
Open consultation hours are Mondays from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. and Thursdays from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. Appointments for social counseling and naturalization can be made via the City of Groß-Gerau website.
