A new youth festival in the Groß-Gerau district offers music, creativity and interactive activities
Sound of Youth, will launch on Saturday, August 8, 2026, in the Groß-Gerau district. The venue is Dornberg Castle. The festival is being organized by a group of young people in cooperation with the district's youth services department.
The new event format combines youth culture with participation. The aim is to offer young people a platform where they can contribute and present their ideas, interests and talents.
The festival offers visitors a diverse stage program featuring young bands and musicians. The program is complemented by graffiti workshops, creative activities, chill-out areas, and interactive offerings focused on youth participation. Drinks and snacks will also be available.
The festival is aimed at young people and young adults aged 14 to 26 from the Groß-Gerau district. Admission is free.
